Hello and welcome to Hampton Park Veterinary Hospital. My name is Dr Cameron Rain and I am the principal veterinarian and owner of the hospital. Professionally I have practiced both overseas and at home. I have studied post graduation in feline medicine, small animal surgery, and ultrasonography. I am accredited with Australian Quarantine Service (AAV) and a member of the Australian Veterinary Association, Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
I have been in the veterinary industry since the age of 14 as a wide-eyed work experience student. A little older now my passion and enthusiasm for patient care is still as strong. I genuinely feel very fortunate I can be a in a profession I truly love.
Settling in a great community, I get to see families and pets grow up. I feel privileged I am allowed the opportunity to care for the family to ensure there are so many happy memories.
As a vet, how can I not have a menagerie? You might see Guy (Kelpie X ) , Madge ( Lab X ) and rascal Engels ( Foxie X ) at work sometimes . they get to share our home with 2 cats Albert and Dorothy.
I don’t recall a time in my life when I did not want to be a veterinarian. After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2009, I obtained my first veterinary position in far north Queensland, where I lived for two years with my now 11 year old Kelpie and my two rescue cats. I have also spent time volunteering for the SPCA in Fiji and participating in their neutering clinic.
I commenced working at Hampton Park Veterinary Hospital almost immediately on my return to Victoria. My particular interests include endocrinology (study of hormonal system), dermatology (the study of skin )and a wide range of soft tissue surgery. I am a memeber of the Australian Veterinary Assoaciation and Australian Small Animal Veterinary Asociation.
Above all I enjoy helping my clients understand and manage their pets health problems. I can go home for the day knowing I have made a difference to that union.

Charli has a love of all animals. Her hobby farm is testament to this : 2 Dogs Willow, the Pug and Penny, the Jack Russell, 3 cats: Molly, Bobbie and Philip, a green tree frog and her newest addition Macey her pet miniature belted Galloway cow.
Hello, my name is Michelle. I am a qualified veterinary nurse. I have been nursing for over 7 years. I enjoy veterinary nursing as I get to help all sorts of animals. Never a dull moment!
They can't tell us where they are hurting, and nothing beats the satisfaction of sending pet home smiling and healthy after being sick. This makes my job incredibly rewarding.
I have 3 dogs, Indy, Tiny and Milly. I also have a galah called Ruby. I have a big interest in birds and would love to study continue my study in the avian direction
After graduating year 12 in 2012 I decided to take my love for animals a little further and commence further study. I have recently finished my Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services. I have since been accepted to do my veterinary nurse training and am now a trainee veterinary nurse. My favorite part of this job is when I get to care for the animals.
I still have a lot to learn but, I feel very happy I have found a profession I am truly passionate about.
I have a cat named Monty and I am looking to adopt a dog in the future.
